The Worland Police Department and the Washakie County Sheriff’s Office have a “Drug Take Back Box” for safe disposal of unused prescription drugs?  The box is located at the Washakie County Law enforcement Center located at 100 N. 10th St. in Worland, and is available 24/7/365.  Citizens dropping off unused prescription pills MUST remove the pills from their original bottles, containers, or packaging at their homes, and place the unused meds in a small plastic baggie or if need be simply drop the loose pills in the box.  Again, Please do not place bottles, containers, or packaging in the Drug Take Back Box.
